Hi there Liang,
welcome to the my-kart community. Yes we will give you lots of pointers but not to a buaya, if you are one.

Come and meet us on round 6 on saturday 6th morning and join our race.

[quote=edwynlow]Hi everyone~

Hi I newbie oso, wat is karting? Pls help..... thanks..... :shy:

Hi Lian / Shahrizan

Hope you can both join us on the 6th June. If you would like to participate in the K3 (80cc) race that day, simply register yourself online. All u need to do is add your name to the list, turn up before 8am on the day and pay the race fees on the day.

Racing equipment is not mandatory, but as a minimum you should wear long pants and preferably long sleeves. Helmets and shower caps are provided, but if you have your own, do bring it along.

Registration is here http://club.my-kart.org/node/3310

Cheers
Mark

hi everyone...
im new here and very interested with karting..
after 3 chicken run im looking foward to competing with others with
respect and high dicipline..
Hope to join the races in this saturday..

BackMarker....Get out my way.. ;)

Hello guys....

I am a newcomer.... i am looking 4ward to meet n have fun with u guys on and off the track. Of all pages in this site.... the 'Chicken Wings' really draws my attention. What is that actually? Hope i can have the skills and learn from you guys... to know what is the 'Chicken Wings' all about.

I had a session using 80cc 2-stroke kart in Shah Alam circuit.... but it was me all alone.... after a terrible day with my client, and it was fun and contagious...hahahahaa.

And few sessions on my own at the Sepang GoKart track.... with few of my frenz. And just for fun in 10 minutes... but the kart was 4-stroke. I like the one in Shah Alam. It is faster.

And when i did my vacation in Langkawi, i had a session there in a lousy kart on a very interesting track with poor maintenance. But still i enjoyed it very much indeed.

So, that's my mileage in karting... hope it didn't bored u guys to death... and i am seeking for any chance of having more serious karting in the future... the real format, real challenge, true skills and frenz in helping me to develop my skills for faster laptimes.

Hope one day... i can smoked all of you........ hahahahhahaa

See ya...

Thanks naza. But how do I know who is who?

[quote=jongoh]Halo,

Jonathan here. newbie too. Drop by and say Hello to all bros & sis. still polishing go-kart skills, no confident for the match yet. Hope to join the race sooner.

Cheers~

Hi Jon,
My advice : unless you have a personal coach, the quicker way to learn is to start racing in my-kart's K3 category. That way, you will learn very quickly from fellow drivers and also get guidance FOC from the sifu(s) aka buayas. There is a 10 year student who progressed within 3 or 4 races from zero to hero and earned the title of baby buaya. YOu should'nt worry too much about getting beaten in the beginning but just race with a view to learn and you will be amaze yourself at the speed you have improved after maybe 6 races depending on your passion and committment.

...come la...
