Ikhwan here, from pj. Newbie as well. Participated in none of the races. Went down to CK for a few laps last weekend and it was awesome! (and that was the 80cc ). Didnt expect that it would be that strenuous and loads of fun. Good workout!
Can I know what are the order races in the drivers' series event -- Is it all the qualifiers first followed by the final races or do u guys go by categories, eg K3 then K2 then K1 or otherwise?

Rd 3 on March 6th and for all remaining rounds are open to all from battle scarred otais to green horn beginners....yes! you are most welcome and do drag your friends along (if you have to..). As a rule, beginners will run in the K3 category and later to K2 and K1 after earning your chicken wing stripes.
No racing suit is not an excuse for staying away from rd 3. In the interest of safety, as a minimum wear long sleeve top and long pants are a must.

im kamal and currently studying in UNITEN. ive done weekly session but with fun kart at MAEPS for the past 3 months with friends. i would like to join otai's group over here so that i can learn new things. oh yea, this march 6th, is it open to beginners too? TQ. i have no racing suit, but i do have helmet on my own for karting.

Hi, is there any karting events for children aged 14-16 in Malaysia? I really need help on this.

We have children from 12 years old through to adults, participating in these events.
If you are not comfortable for them to join due to lack of experience, please do coma along to the event and discuss with myself and other senior karters and we gladly assist and maybe arrange some training sessions (if you see 'chicken wings' mentioned in this forum, it is our phrase used for training sessions!)
need help on how do i go about to getting into karting? like to join a beginners session pls advise...
1. Register your name under the K3 Series at http://club.my-kart.org/node/3537
2. Come to City Karting on Jan 2th at 7.30am sharp
3. Wear long pants and possible long sleeve jacket if you do not have any racing gears. Helmet is provided at the track.

LOL! no prob bro. Can help in case of any emergencies. Will gladly trade my experience for your experience on track. Am really looking forward to the next time i can get to go on a kart. For now, am concentrating , on bringing my weight down. thats a major headache at 79 kgs.
P:S: who are ure friends in IMU? i might know them or of them.. can bring them along for karting also.
