All newcomers to my-kart are encouraged to ask questions about my-kart or any other related matters. also take some time to introduce yourselves to others... so at least, you're not just another name. :)

Hi Kamal,

Rd 3 on March 6th and for all remaining rounds are open to all from battle scarred otais to green horn beginners....yes! you are most welcome and do drag your friends along (if you have to..). As a rule, beginners will run in the K3 category and later to K2 and K1 after earning your chicken wing stripes.

No racing suit is not an excuse for staying away from rd 3. In the interest of safety, as a minimum wear long sleeve top and long pants are a must.

Finally, please write your name to confirm participation in here....http://club.my-kart.org/node/3539

you can pre-register him as participant for the K3 race this saturday. but do encourage him to get a site account, so that he can self serve.

Hi there,

Ikhwan here, from pj. Newbie as well. Participated in none of the races. Went down to CK for a few laps last weekend and it was awesome! (and that was the 80cc :D ). Didnt expect that it would be that strenuous and loads of fun. Good workout!

Can I know what are the order races in the drivers' series event -- Is it all the qualifiers first followed by the final races or do u guys go by categories, eg K3 then K2 then K1 or otherwise?

Thanks

Thanks Fazz, I really appreciate your prompt reply. Cheers.

Can I have the URL for the printer friendly registration form because i can't seem to find it. Thanks

salam n hi all..may name is zul and a newbie here..i'm still new n hope that the otai's here could share their experience..been actively karting at maeps track for a while..cant wait to meet u all at ck!

I just saw this last night on the registration page: "** fees are RM100 for newcomers to my-kart (80cc or K3 class) - club members get RM10 discount."

How can I be entitled to get this discount?

Also, do my-kart members get discounts if we go there on days other than my-kart race days? Just wondering coz that will definitely encourage members to introduce karting to more ppl :)

Just register as a Kelab my-kart member and pay membership fee (RM 120) and you will need to pay only RM90 for every K3 race. Also, you are entitle to purchase City karting's 5 sessions 80cc voucher at RM 125 (public pay RM150) and RM 250 for 5 sessions 100cc voucher (public pay RM 300). Just show your my-kart ID to get these discounts at City Karting.

thanks naza! appreciate the explanation :D
salam and hi....im kalif..newbie...still dont know where to start...hehe..
the first step is to view the "read me first" link at the top of the page.

let me know what specifically you wish to know.
thank u so much...is there any event upcoming??how can i paticipate...
you can view all our events on the "event calendar" link on the top menu.

you can also view the latest "content list & updates" for the coming events.

click on the event item that you want to participate and simply add your name to the table that is there (once pre-registration is open).

let me know if this is still unclear.

Hi everyone, just recently registered and am looking forward meeting you all and getting involved.

I've entered my name on the K3 list for the upcoming 23/7 Round 8 event, is there anything I need to do before hand in order to participate?

Also if there are any equipment requirements, suit, gloves, shoes etc.

Any help much appreciated. Thanks

welcome.

yes, fill in your name, arrive at the track before the registration is closed, pay RM100 and then enjoy racing.

proper racing suit is recommended. but for a starter, long pants, and tshirt is good enough. jeans and long sleeve tshirt are recommended. proper racing suit is even better.

ok, thanks for your advice....it really help those new comer like me...

Thanks Kamal,....and must attend drivers briefing and pay particular attention to what is good racing manners and track ethics all about. Don't be shy to ask the senior members and buayas.

Welcome!
