I would like to call a meeting amongst the committee and some core members to address the following items:

1	event ops training	fazz	needed when i am away on round 2 - includes excel training
2	updates on membership drive	azlan	collection process, options
3	member benefits	luen	need to know procedures, finalise forms etc
4	commercial updates	yusnee	need to know plans for raising funds, creating awareness
5	technical direction	jules	need to finalise how to move forward on series rules & specs
6	administrative updates	naza	updates on outstanding items
7	website functions training	fazz	useful for core members and folks with specific roles

given the agenda and additional need to go through the pc (event ops, online collaboration thru web etc), i decide to complement the TT with this meeting on the 13th.

2. Confirming Minutes of the last meeting (Azlan, I need a copy)

Fazz, I might be confused here..ie if the 19th TT session is purely a social meet, than we dont need the formalities as above, in which case treat the above as a discussion guide at best. If its a committee meeting , than we will call it Main Committee meeting 02/07.

oh. i see where you're coming from.

the TT is meant to be a social meet.

one of the ingredients to a successful club i believe is for members to bond with each other outside of the main club activity - in our case, karting. in addition to this, bonding with the rest of the family is also important - visa mah.

my-kart currently lacks social activities. generally, my-kart members meet on event day and then go off. perhaps this is what majority of the members want, which is fine - but i would guess using the pareto rule that 20% members would like to have social activities. this social + member relationship also helps build the core group. and from this core group you have volunteers, and committee members.

hence the TT. if only committee members participate, then we can talk business. otherwise, just talk cock. i know, i may have misled by agreeing previously that we updated the membership drive and AGM matters during the january TT. perhaps we can do that as a small side agenda - if it cannot be done this weekend.

hmmm maybe is out of scope but just to share some of my experience.

yeah frequent TT sessions can bring closer frienships but that also spawn deadly polictical call. Been running forums for years, been having TT session of thousands, seeing car club breaking down and to smaller sub member groups.

Namely
AsianAuto(AAI) breaks down to zerotohundred
ZTH (breaks down to many smaller)ones, one I very familiar SPOC (satria Performance owners' club)
SPOC -> 4GSC --> 4Gtuners.com --> pro-hatch
all these forums/clubs exists today you can actually logon to their sites

just my suggestion, if bringing closer relationship we can always opt for a full day event not neccesary karting, it can be family day outing, or official jamuan to makan place after the any race event as club activity.

1. this makes that event valueable, members will tends to appreciate
2. that makes official of membership value
3. can avoid unneccessary conflict or "politics"

just my 0.5 sen

folks - sorry guys. given the attendance, only one agenda item could be discussed. i am deferring this meeting to a more suitable date for all. in the meantime, i shall catch up directly with naza.

i would like to propose 20th Saturday afternoon for the meeting... how many are ok?
