we need full time volunteers. poor naza, luen and the rest were practically running around 50% racing and 50% managing.

Hehehe.....should have stayed away from driving today. Its not easy to race and at the same time taking care of races, in particular the K1. So, I took the Saturday drive lah!

As it turn out, the engine seized in Heat 2 and no, I did not do the walk of shame cos Ah Boy came and rescue me from embarrasment on his motorbike. The last nail in the coffin came when I did not have a clue on which kart to choose in the Coca Cola cup final because there was no time to even watch any K2 race earlier. So I use lai lai li tamplong formula which was disastrous. That freakin kart (No. 1 some more) alignment was so out that grip was available for left turns only but absolute rubbish for right turns......so decide to makan angin lah!

.....arrrgh, precious points gone! never mind round 4 you are around kan?

Well done the Ruff Ruff man! It's evident that I can't be within the same continent in order for Ashraff to have good karma!

i would say it was a disasterous K2 debut for me yesterday ...

at first i thought what a beautiful day its gonna be when i miraculously catch up with Ramsey (despite my kingkong weight) on the 1st heat before i make a slight mistake while attempting to overtake him and spun off ... and later stalled the kart (#29) on the bank ... ok fine la that one was driver error totally ...

then on the 2nd heat ... it started to go downhill some more when i got the all time cursed kart, the blue #1 kart ... the rear has no grip at all ... always wanna go sideways on corners (for God sake, i'm not competing in a drift race, alright?) ... which end up having to drive a lot slower on the corners (which i already am).

my stream of bad luck didn't end there ... on the outlap for the coca cola cup ... the kart (#17) just simply stall itself on the S corners when i try to pace my kart with one in front of me ... then it took 3 months for the mechanics to get to my kart and start it back again ... and then they started the kart back again only to find out it stalled on its own again just 5 meters after that ... then i cannot tahan anymore ... changed the kart ... started it ... stalled on its own ... started it back ... then underpowered la pulak ...

yes, i know im still a novice ... and i dun mind being at the back of the pack ... but the thing that frustrates me the most is the level of maintenance CK had on their machines nowadays ... it keeps getting worst ... i once adored to the level of maintenance they had on their kart ... but it is now just another chapter from Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa ...

there goes my own version of "A Series of Unfortunate Events" ...

aaarrgHHHH!! made a mistake by taking No17 kart...it was not running at all...the engine was jerking from start & all around the track till i came in for a replacement & changed to kart 8 during the formation lap...i missed the start proper & ended up racing myself all the way...lucky for me...one kart brokedown & another (must be Yusnee's) developed some problem...cos i could see myself slowly closing in behind him from about lap 3 or 4...& finally managed to overtake him at lap 7...hehehe...& finished sixth...
my mistake...to take the no 17 kart & not remembering that was the kart that was having trouble at starting during the group B finals...should have paid attention when doing the lapcharts & should have taken No 8 instead cos it was really a lovely handling with decent power throughout the finals...but but...
"sesal dahulu pendapatan, sesal kemudian tak berguna!!" Eye

anyway...i have to say that it is GOOD to be back racing with mykart again...sorry didn't have my usual serving of the special currypuffs ( went to the bomoh but he said another guy took all of them to a marathon earlier:( if only i came in 15 mins earlier) really good to meet all of you mykarters again...wished i had my own kart when i saw the K1 guys racing on the track...

sadly tho...i find it rather sad to find not many guys from K3 would like to be volunteers when asked...i tried to recruit some to help with the K3 (C)Finals but not a single person responded...& i felt like a looney when everyone was looking at me with some WTH expression on their faces...yaaaahh...i know..i know i looked funny with my "botak head" hair style but i would have done it myself if not for my own K2(A) Finals coming up next...very sad indeed Sad

WELL DONE mykart...seeing you grow to such a big group like yesterday was awe inspiring...too bad i had to leave early...busy maaaa Eye
