Preparation for Round 2 - Safety Review for Counter Clockwise race

It has been suggested that we do a thorough review of the safety plan for round 2, especially to run the K1 series Counter Clockwise.

Can we get agreement from CK to test the CRG's in the CCW direction, perhaps on one of the next few weekends, or even on the Fri before the race, and make adjustment to run off areas, look out for unsafe conditions, etc?

Dear committee,

Thank you all for a great start to the season. Below is my observations and suggestions for improvement for the rest of 2008 and beyond:

i) Finances:
- K3 prices was increased by RM 10 by CK. We did not opt to raise the price today because it was not communicated to the participants. As a consequence we did not get our usual surplus $$ but essentially broke even.

Folks,
I got some feedback from some mykarters regarding how to revive or create higher interest in Teams Race such as the one scheduled on 21st July at the Elite Track. Some suggestions were:

A) Run both 100cc and 80cc Team races

Luen and I were discussing about how can we reciprocate the club's launch sponsors, ie TeleVAS, ING, Shell, Table talk, acccesories firm( forgot the name)

It could be in the form of stickers so that we can stick it on our helmets or our karts or suits....what do you think?

Being a registered club, certain standards and protocols need to be established. This will be an agenda of next meeting of enchancement of club's chart.

Here is what i can think for now from the event point of view

1. Event team
-training to volunteers, maybe one free round at the end of the season as reward
-Need establish protocols / procedures of events.
