Sorry for the late reply... as you know, we have another event coming (Round 8) in August.. its going to be on Sunday, 19 August instead of usual day which is on Saturday. The reason being is because we don't have any other dates available!! (well, ctkarting had to release our booking to MBSA cause they are going have an event there) fazz, correct me if am wrong!

Anyway Mulan, hope to see you in the next round..jangan segan2...we're all here to learn and to gain experience.. if you join us atleast you will be more confident on track! Anyway, any questions you can shoot here! Thanks for your interest!

age is not a barrier or an issue..kat track nanti all u can see is COLOUR....GREEN ,which means BUAYASsss...thats more harmfull

basically everyone there is very helpfull...just try to look lost ,fazz will help u.i mean.....we all are,hehe...byk prince charming will GLADLY show u a thing or two..
just have fun...u will,for sure..see u there yes??!!

well, fyi...here is one of the example of BUAYA....anak abah lah..hehe.. she's really good on the track..you can ask guidance from her/from the rest of the guys! btw, she's my inspiration.. *ehem2 fizah- you better pay me RM50 for this! i accept cash only......*

Thanks for your interest! and yes, we're really looking forward to see you/the rest of the ladies in the next round..

Ok...one of the reasons why we created this group is to discuss/share on how to improve our karting skills etc -strictly for ladies only! ..but you have to do it practically to improve. As for me, I just started karting actively (as in involve in the monthly races)since Oct last year, and once you're involved racing with the rest of members, you'll learn more about the racing craft eventually.. So, don't be afraid or segan cause I know we all have the same interest. If you're worried about the racing gear, the helmets are provided by CTkarting, but you have to wear a proper clothes such as long sleeve jacket/top, sports shoes (if possible, racing shoes) and also racing gloves (if you don't have one, you can get it from the near motorbike shops, i think it costs around RM50). Or maybe we can set a date so that we all can meet up one saturday at CTKarting and have a practice or something? What say you? Fizzy..you have to be there! oh yeah, i forgot, you're the "CTKarting Ambassador"! hahaha

Btw, Felylya, you've mentioned in your profile that your bf also have the same interest, maybe you could get him to join our next round!

Oh btw, my husband also into this and I hope I'd get my daughters to join in soon! but so far, they'd normally asked me to take them in yellow kart.......ok la atleast they want to be on the track!

Like myself, nvr try karting in CtKarting b4, not familiar wit da track at all. Got da gloves oredi (still bau kedai~haha), i hv no close fren wit same interest wit me. So it is alwaiz me n my bf racing wit each otha n like alwaiz he alwaiz win(kdg² je bg chance i menang). He want me 2 join any girl's karting group since he enjoy circuit racing than karting. Waa..cian tau.

* For the race on the 19th of Aug 07,it will be RM90 ,payment upon registration on the day itself.first come first serve basis...so dont be late
* For private practise session....at CITY KARTING(CK) track ,it will be RM30 (80cc kart) for good LONG 10 mins.

If interested, you can put your name in the list in the last threat of the site. Newbies are to use 2 strokes 80cc karts by default which is under K3 group.

Kart cost depends on your budget... you can get a decent rotax 125 for around 7k.. maintenance - monthly is around 75-100, track time is around RM150 per day, and you will have to pay some fuel and tyre... plus perhaps repairs if parts need replacing..

It's almost 2 months since our last race and I'm sure we'll going to have fun!

If you wish to have a practice with us, please let me know and we can arrange a ladies practice session on one fine day after Raya and of course, before the race! Well, I'm sure we're going to gain lot of weight during Raya and believe me, this is the best time to lose it!
