where do you guys bought ur first karting helmet?

any advice on brands?,so far ive seen the omp.

CK has a real nice Arai helmet for sale... going for about RM2.5k I think (a couple of hunderd less than market value). Maybe as a first helmet it's a bit too much though.

I bought a SOL bike helmet from CK for practice... so far no complaints and it was quite reasonably priced too.

Yup I was there to practice yesterday when "Panjang" told me bout the Arai. I wanted to have a look but when he told me the price I said nevermind lol! My first try and I got smoked by Mark and the rest. But my second try was better as I got some tips from Mark. Thanks Bro! Cheers!

Thumbs up Get a full faced helmet bro... & ya the SOL bike helmet price are reasonable or go check your local bike shop there's many design/shape meh..

my dad bought me the MHR for my first helmet...price tag 300+ but managed to cut down below 300....good helmet..no complains....

Anyway my friend who is a sales manager with Fuchs (Silkolene) deals with korean made HJC helmets. I bought my bike helmet at about 450/=. The retail was about 750/= for that helmet. Im gonna ask him if he can bring in karting/auto ones. Better check the HJC website 1st.

go to Chiap Lee @ Serangoon Rd S'pore and you can get the arai sk-5 for RM1,500 ... but if that seems too costly then the Sol helmet is good enough ... good design too ...
