Ruben - since this event is after the Round9, I am staying back to snap some photos of you guys racing. And since I am there, if by 'touch wood' something happen to one driver, I am there for the 'reserve' reserve driver.

Those buayas are doing 1:14-1:15 on a wet tyre on dry track!!! And Buaya Zul creates the fastest time 1:13 I reckon.. but still can't beat the champions doing 1:11-1:12.. Bro they must be like super light or something?

...1.11 ?....1.12? on wets?.....Jazeman did 1.12 on slicks. So, who need Jazeman. I am completely puzzled!

The most unexpected things also happened yesterday.. Emmy who was supposed to be my personal 'pompom girl' was racing against me
. She was replacing Angeline who has to catch her bus to Singapore

Likewise, it was my first 'official race' on wet tyres, although Bro Naza and I recently got hooked onto 'soggy chicken wings'...
Congratulations to Ruben, Zul and Brian who performed like pro's. Due to the weather conditions changing from hot and sunny to wet and cloudy we restrategised our driver placements and Zul went out first, followed by Brian, Ruben and myself.
The racing lines were nicely defined and pretty dry by the time I was out and there was very little traffic so by all accounts I had a very easy drive!
It was a great feeling crossing the chequered flag as it showed the team spirit and consideration of the team. Each team mate had driven carefully and consistently and taken great care of the kart which allowed us a great start and a great finish with no incidents between.
Watch this space for next year's results

Haha i thought i could give a moral support to zul's team till angeline approached me and asked me to replace her!
too bad we were driving kart number 3 as you all know how it performed in the earlier my-kart race!
my first experience driving with MOJO tyres was excellent! i didnt even press the brake cause the tyres gripped so well..
can we have a wet track endurance race or something?

Driver in order:
1. Thevan
2. Stef
3. Ze
4. Edwyn
Well.. for our team.. behind the dodgy steering wheel were so loose that we can't turn left properly, the front tyres were Mojo, and the back were Bridgestone. The Mojo grip were excellent, but Bridgestone cause some slide, not much.. slightly.. but enough for you to lose time. That kart 14 was really killing my arms as I have to push the steering wheel down in order for the kart to turn to where I wanted to. Problem was already there when the 1st driver came in complaining about the steering wheel, then 2nd driver says it's turning weird, 3rd driver went out for like 5 minutes and request for driver change, and lastly me.. despite a dodgy kart, still we have to bring the kart home. Eventhough my arms was already in pain half way to the finish line, got to hang on to it.. can't let the team down eventhough we were at 8th place and 2 laps down. 1st driver spun a few times out there, I reckon that cause us the 2 laps down, else I reckon we were doing well with the dodgy kart. Our lap time were 1:21 every lap. Very consistent for 3 drivers from 2nd driver onwards. The fastest lap was create by Ruben's Clone 1:20. Overall.. we had great fun and a shaky hand

Hehe... I got the results/lap charts.... Scanning soon.... Will need help to upload as image here....
Not to take anything away from anyone, here's some of the stats I've worked out so far:
Need to clear my emails 1st, I'll be back later
THANKS to each any everyone of team A & B. Fantastic job! We were only 30seconds behind the winner and they were definately sweating!!!!

Seeing Brian's average lap time has reminded me of something we've not mentioned. On Brian's first lap the kart died of fuel starvation and the marshalls wanted us to retire. Luckily, Brian insisted on a thorough check and they found the fuel line had detached itself from the tank!! At this point we were one lap down. Despite that, we still managed to recover and finish 2nd!

I was shocked that we were suddenly a lap down after our driver change.
I thought there had to be a problem with the timing results....
Thank you Brian for insisting the marshalls fix the kart there and then. Finishing in 2nd place, 30+sec behind, after being 1:40+ sec behind is as gooooooooodz as it gets. That's the way racing goes.
We could've been worse and got a kart which had problems with our steering (Team 2), or maybe stuck with a lousy kart
My 1st time out on wets - honestly, I wasn't very confident with em, especially with the tail-happy moments after the esses and in the middle of the parabolica. Apart from that, the wet tyres were perfect on every other corners.

Corrections, fastest lap was 1:12.90 by Curtin on their very last lap, how I wished I was out there too..... but excellent call by Mark to send me out to do the catch up earlier

Murdoch Team 2
Here you go..... Roughly your times were around 1:20.....
I saw Chin stalled right after the esses, waving frantically but I don't think the marshals attending to someone at the esses saw him. Actually quite a number of spinners/stallers without marshals to help them get started again. I did my best to draw attention by waving my arms too....
