Race Instructors wanted for SIC Club event

Brian E was contacted by the Peugeot club to help with instruction for their track day at Sepang.
Driving Instructors Wanted in exchange for FREE Track time.
Venue: Sepang International Cicuit
Date: Saturday, August 13th 2005
For: Peugeot Club Malaysia Track Day
Time: 8:30 - 10:00 am
The Peugeot Club is having a track day at Sepang on the 13th of August. The track is closed to only the club from 8:30 - 10:00 am. Brian is looking for 10 instructors to help out with the event. In addition to participating with the club these instructors will also be allowed to run in the open track session that is scheduled for 10:00 am to 12 pm on the same day. Brian will have the apexes marked at the track and a detailed instruction guideline, so no previous instructor experience is required. The only thing Brian needs are people that are familiar with racing lines, basic driving techniques, and have a vehicle that can do average speed lead and follow on the track. If anyone is interested please email Brian directly at and he will forward you details.
Please keep in mind that he has to limit the number of instructors to 10 so let him know as soon as possible.

was indeed a good day for me..had a blast around the track..almost lost it at turns 7 & 8 myself...towards the end of the first session...forgot that the track was still damp & my rear tires have not much 'flower'..hehehe..lucky managed to control the slide & avoided the gravels...
the open session was amazingly empty with only 3 trackcars running around the track..so had a chance to better my personal laptime record...& shave 2 secs off from my previous fastest laptime...now down to 3mins 7secs...next time I'll get myself a good set of tyres & maybe upgrade the suspension as I'm running the car totally stock except for the brakes...hopefully can get a better time then...maybe below 3mins?? hmmmmm
