there was an incident in K3 involving a kart climbed onto the driver and hurting his shoulder. if anyone saw the incident, would you mind elaborate more on the incident. thank you.

1st time went around the track anti-clockwise.didnt expect that to happen.cant wait for next event.very addictive hehehe.

shahkaka,

the track direction will go alternately from cw to ccw every round. so the next round will be cw and the next will be ccw. so this goes on..

...and if all can chip in and pay for kart transportation, we can race in Sepang SIC circuit once in a blue moon.

I would love to race the 100s at Sepang. How much to chip in? I'm game.. no worries

AP mentioned RM 1000 for lorries and SIC track charges. If all really want to try Sepang here are some issues:

1)Can we all be at Sepang by 7.30 am? Maybe start at 8.30am and done by 4pm.
2)Bring your own lunch boxes. The nearest food outlet is at the LCCT area.
3)Assuming there are 60 drivers, each will have to chip in about 1000/60 = RM 16.00. We can collect RM 8.00 per driver at rd 3 and another RM 8.00 at rd 4 to spread the cost and run the Sepang race in rd 5. Does'nt sound too bad does it?

.Sepang is awesome dude!.. so what say the others?

Sounds a great idea. 7.30am start is quite a challenge, but well worth it! Shall we register our interest here:-

With reference to Rd2, I think it improved a lot. Drivers are more ethical and disciplined. I had a good race albeit sprung with bad luck. Q2 I was in the fight when the kart broke down with spoiled spark plug. Final B was great in the first few laps when I exchanged position with Xuxone for the lead. I must commend him for such ethical driving. He gave me the confidence and assurance that no stabbing will be done if I open my line to take corners. That was how racing is suppose to be.

unfortunately, my right axle gave way. I thot i could salvage something to the end, but it just splat out at the next left hand corner. Another DNF does not really help in my bid to be champion in K3-70! May be I have to stay for another season? Sticking out tongue

I also noticed that another boy (11 years old) joined in K3. It is very encouraging development, but rather not forthcoming results. I believe it was not his fault when he got bumped (and a kart climbed on his back?).

I think we already have 3 boys (11 years old) ready to start their racing careers with MyKart, ie. Faiz, Armein, and Aiman (my son). However, as a parent, I am really concern about their safety. I remember there were discussions to create a K4. But the way we are running now, I dont think we have the time.

As such, may I suggest that these boys be categorized as K3-Kids? or something. They will compete among themselves (only). They will be in the K3-B for Q1, Q2, and Finals regardless of their overall finish. They also start from the back in the order of their qualifying points. This way, we can avoid them being in the middle of the first few corner mayhem.

Yes, the possibility of them getting lapped is there. But getting lapped is far safer than fighting for position with the likes of their fathers Eye

Any in favor?
