Safety Reminder - Please tuck in long hair

I just wanted to highlight a point raised by one of our members today.

We would like to advise all drivers with long hair or pony tails, to ensure that you tuck your hair into your helmet during my-KART races.

Long hair may get caught in the kart's moving parts and cause serious damage to your health, paralysis, or even death.

One incident in Port Dickson, witnessed by a my-KART member, involved a young lady with long hair which was caught in the kart's moving parts, which yanked her head back violently resulting in severe spinal injury and permanent paralysis.

Just a reminder as we wouldn't want to see this happen in my-KART.

Well done Azlan! Safety First! To all My-Kart members this is very serious as I witnessed this incident which happened many years back in my hometown. That poor little girl's screams still haunts me so lets make it safer everyone Thumbs up !!!

For your own sake, if you have long hair - please please tie it up.

I will recommend that the My-Kart seniors go to extend of NOT allowing those who did not do so - to drive for that day.

If you are prevented from driving - please always remember its for your own safety. Yes, YOURS!
