Heat 1 - Kart #22
It was an average performance kart but the kart was giving me a little trouble through the corners due to understeer. In order to make a nice turn, will have to break early. That creates a chance for Cheah to outbrake me at the hairpin after the parabola. Maintained my 3rd place from then on. I couldn't catch up with 2nd place and 4th place couldn't catch up to me as well. So I just bring the kart home and settle for 3rd placing even though it was full out all the time.

Heat 2 - Kart #26
This time the kart was better. Ask Emmy for advice of the kart because she said the kart was having problem during her heat 1. So I consulted Ah Miao and he said the problem has been corrected. Power was there but a little tail happy sometimes at the corner if you apply too much throttle. Finished at 3rd again. To my surprise after looking at the results, the top 4 drivers are in the same placing for heat 1 and heat 2. Way to go to show consistency man!! Hehehe~

Final A - Kart #26
Chose kart #26. There was a misunderstanding from Faibs regarding on the choosing kart. He thought he was the one choosing the kart before me, but it was me who got to choose first, then him. But all matters have been sorted out. He is happy.

It was an absolutely exciting race. As I was a heavy weight guy, I couldn't really keep up the pace with the light weights. But I still put up a good fight at the start of the race. On the 1st lap, I was already at the last place (from 2nd place) just before the start/finish line. Everyone was really close. It was like a trail. Thank god~ Nizer spun and he eventually blocked Razak. Razak have to do some grass cutting to avoid Nizer. That helped me to gain 2 placing. The rest of us (4 drivers) were having wheel to wheel racing for almost 3 - 4 laps, when finally you see those "super thin guys" sticking at your rear. There was really a big gap in difference with the weight issue. They just overtook me in a blink of an eye. For the remaining laps, I was fighting with Julian for 5th place and managed to maintain my 5th place after overtaking Julian (thank you for your ambitious afford at the corner).

Overall
I think the K2 series went smoothly despite of some issue of the karts. The karts were all badly thrashed due to previous event that occur before us; where non-experience drivers thrashing those 100s around the track. It was hard to find a spare kart. Maybe we have to look into this matter.

i didnt mistaken... since u wanted to point it out... ill like to say that u and fazz made the mistake.. not me.... my seed is higher then urs... plus we are on the same points therefore i should have gotten to choose the kart first.. however i was denied that chance for whatever reason... although i still find it a lil unfair, i decided to let it go..... what matters is the end result ..and...... i was correct in the end.. admit it!!! hahahah sorry ed!! Sticking out tongue just wanna rub it in here!!! here is the proof --->

Thanks Faibs for bringing this out. Maybe there were technical errors. I am not sure myself too. Just following the charts given. As the charts given, I was 2nd on the grid and you were first. But hey.. sometimes mistakes is goodzzzz~

Cool almost all the carts are understeer, but thanks to U guys, managed to handle it right and everybody aware each others while taking the corners. It was a tough fight during the final A K2 where I almost lost my positions. But still I considered very lucky that I managed to hold it back. And got 1st, after the cats and dogs chased. First time in K2.

Very aprehensive in the qualifiers.

Managed to grab the lead in lap 2 or 3 of the B final, but threw it all away with a spin which was entirely my own fault at the first corner. Braked to late and too hard.

Mark: really sorry for the mouth full of grass Embarassed

Learned a lot from the experience, and not really dissappointed.

Looking forwards to round 8
