Kart Supplies
Hi there,
I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I'm in the process of rebuilding my kart and I'm looking to replace a few parts, mainly for piece of mind and, as the karts in pieces I may as well get everything done now rather than later.
At the moment, my brake system is with Rosedi for them to come up with some alternative replacements, my engine is at CK, for new clutch and to order a new radiator.
I'll be needing a new seat (the only stock at Rosedi could accommodate one buttock only) and steering wheel to tidy things up.
All the Nyloc nuts need to be replaced.
Need a full chain guard.
Quite a few other bits n pieces, and body work.
My question is, is there one place that I can go, find what I need, all in one trip.. I've tried an online search but can't find anywhere.

Jules | Yes, there is an alpinestar
Yes, there is an alpinestar dealer in Sri Hartamas and the owner is related to someone in this forum...
On spares - dun buy abroad cos kart spares get taxed too....30% if I am not wrong. In addition, there's the cost of freight and the risk that the part wun fit.....
You can get from local dealers such as CK, KRS ( Mikko ), RL ( Aaron ) or even JK Racing ( John King ). Be specific what you want and they can normally help at you be assured it works.....
naza | CK should have whatever you
CK should have whatever you need including used but still serviceable parts (not necessary to be new for non moving parts other than aesthetics). In fact, you should be able to push CK for overall discount for all the parts you needed...and for discounts always speak to the boss (Ah Piaw) after you introduced your self as a my-kart die hard!
Tarmizi | i am sure City Karting is
i am sure City Karting is able to supply you most of the items you need such as bodywork, steering, seats, chain guards.

Yyou can use them to get some ideas on available stuff and prices...the other day i was driving by Desa Sri Hartmaas when i looked out the window and thought i saw an Alpine Star shop next to the toyota dealer...i have yet to confirm this but it might be a place to check out.
