It is great to see teams actively scrambling at this early stage to get the best drivers in their team.

However, for team principals especially, please bear in mind my-KART's aim of "building grassroots motorsports" when undergoing the driver selection process, and ensure that you give fair chance to all my-KART members, whether newbies or old hands, in your selection.

Although we have stated 3 to 8 drivers per team, I would not like to see anyone excluded from participation, just because some teams want to restrict to 5 or less drivers.

In theory, we have up to 96 seats for this Enduro (12 karts x 8 per kart max), and should there actually be 96 drivers available, I would like to see all drivers be given the opportunity to participate.

I would like to propose to the organising committee - if there are interested drivers without teams by a certain cut off date, perhaps by Nov 1 (2 weeks before payment cut off), then we should allocate "homeless drivers" to teams, starting with those with lowest no of drivers and so on..

Therefore, we will be able to provide opportunity to all and promote grassroots karting via this enduro.

Edwyn, re:7.6 - does this mean the mandatory pit stop is not mandatory and the team can just do 5 pitstops without any penalty? Puzzled

if i may suggest...
each team to volunteer 1 driver who's not driving or next to drive to man posts around the track for flag waving for a certain duration of time...(ie: teams with 6 drivers can have each to man the post for 1 hr each) just in case...
too many times i've seen incidents happening with the only flag being waved was at the corner nearest to the pit building...
& driver just dont know where the incident has taken place...
