I need a more powerful alarm clock and anti-jet-lag medicine.

Congratulations to uncle Razak and to Edwin.

Nice and fun race. admin! I think the overall standing for my self should be on K2/70...anyway it doesn't matter...

Power without control is nothing

Well done to all winners and congrats to Edwyn for clinchng the K2/70 and Ajak for the K2 overall championship respectively. Now you guys better practice using ballast if you are below 72kg. Sticking out tongue

nasib baik aku tak race...kalau tak mmg aku tak menang larrr...whoahahaha...

congrats to the winners of the race & also the Championship...
we'll see next year if the new ballast system will have a change in the usual suspects of winners...hehehe...

anyway if I may...would like to comment on the incident on K2A Qualifying 1 at turn 2 on the first lap...I was shooting some pictures nearby & was elated to see how close the racers were at turn 1 & everyone came out unscathed but was surprised to see how some of the racers took a really tight inside line, 3 abreast on turn 2 & really braked very2 late...i must say quite a dangerous driving style...the outcome was not pretty the when one of them actually drove right over a watery spot...then tried to turn but just instead went straight into another driver sideways...3 karts then got tangled & 1 was out of the race if not mistaken...plus some injury to zool
this mistakes shouldn't be happening in K2 anymore as I believe the drivers in this class are supposed to be the more matured & experienced & should already know what happens if one is to drive over a wet patch of the track with slicks...its unfortunate this has to happen last saturday & i cant imagine if i were to race that day...It cud have been me being hit & i'd be in trouble getting back to work...

just my observation from the track side..

Capt,
...sorry to dissapoint you...hehehe!. 72kg is minimum weight WITHOUT the racing apparel and rubbers. So you need to somehow put on an extra 1.5kg either in pure kebab fat or in lead come Jan 2009 rd 1.

However, your present weight is ok for the 6 hours enduro though.

thanks for raising the issue. agree with the need to be a bit more measured when driving in the faster categories as mistakes could be more costly and painful. we will need to look into this... also would somebody be able to post an incident report?

It was an interesting race with many incident..

Q1:
I got a very good kart compare to all my competitors. Was able to overtake the main featherweights rivals - so unbelievable but it's true. After overtaking them, it was a nice drive all the way to the finish.

Q2:
Was a mess-up with the green flag. Engine nearly die due to front runners coming to a near complete stop at the start/finish line. And the green flag was wave. Was overtook by many drivers when trying to save the engine from dying out. Only manage to catch up to one driver. Bad finish.

FH:
Was lucky to find myself in Group A after a bad finish in Q2. Couldn't get the engine running while the group formation has already done 2 formation laps. Was prepare for them to start without me. Thinking to myself, all I need to do is to finish in Group A. But thanks to Emmy for a kart problem, I was manage to overtake her and not being in the last position.

Overall:
Interesting weekend. Nice Q1 - loving it. A K2/70 Champion. Woohoo~~ What more can you ask?

Smiling

I reckon there is no fight for me at the overall championship points for a podium. So I am taking a good rest for the 6 hours endurance to make sure Aliens are at the podium

Hafizah & Emmy,
You can take the points la~~ Hehehe~

Thumbs up

Q1 : Fair race - good kart as well.. i managed to push after the 1st hairpin..

Q2 : Pushed harder - kart was a bit understeered but it was okay especially when i overtook heavy weights at the straight line Sticking out tongue

FH : was in the middle of the pack when i was spun and kart chain was broke.. managed to change kart #2 which is not listed in the kartlist.

but can you guys check whether i was in last place or razak for final race coz he was at the pit too..anyway, doesnt matter though but points does matter to me! Sticking out tongue
