Sad to hear about the misfortune and incident between 2 of the other drivers in K2. Whilst I wasn't there to witness what happened I cannot comment much except to say I hope drivers in general will take note of the clubs stance when it comes to safety and ethics on the track

Since i was involved in the incident, i guess i can tell u what happened from my view.. First off, sorry to jules for ending his race prematurely. I happened to have kart 23 on the final race which ran anti clockwise. It was a pretty powerful kart. at the start of the race I stayed away from every1 in all corners till after the chicane that leads on the straight. Overtook 2 karts there and managed to slowly catch up to jules who was 1st placed and some1 else who was 2nd towards the hairpin turn at the end of the straight(one of the hardest braking corner on the anti-clock wise circuit)...me being 3rd, there was no way i could have overtaken jules at all... Jules took a defensive line and stuck on the inside, while the 2nd placed guy took the outer line. i followed jules hoping to get 2nd place if the 2nd placed guy made a mistake on the exit. (sorry forgot who was 2nd). it was first lap i took it abit too relaxed. i didnt anticipate that they were braking that hard, which cause me to brake a lil later than them. my brakes probably still werent fully heated up yet and the small bump b4 the entry of the hairpin didnt help either.. therefore they were able to brake harder than me, as jules was exitting the corner, and me still at full braking on the inside line, my kart touched his left rear tyre, which resulted my kart to lift up slightly and losing my bumper.. However this caused jules' karts chain to fall off and ending his race. if i had not touched his tyres by mistake, it would have probably resulted in a small nudge and a non dnf finish for jules. i was the cause of this incident and it was an honest mistake on my part so sorry again to jules... M.Fikri Rahim here,well i am the 2nd placed guy..at the straight line, before the hairpin turned i was 1st,jules was 2nd(close to me) and faibs 3rd...jules was trying to overtake me from inside last minutes before the hairpin turned which i gave him space to let him go through me but suddenly i saw faibs trying to follow jules(he took inside also very closed behind jules)while i was at the outer line again(takut!!)and i had to let faibs passed through for my own safety..then boom!!...thats all i can remember..

oh another thing, the karts last round were overall consistant in power hence the good dog fight i had with amar shahbana in race 2 hope to see everyone again at the end of this month
