nice weather on race day, 1st qualifying is damn fun with kart slides and spin around..luckily i go slow and manage to control..i saw liyana spin for 3 or 4 times ? Tongue i got kart #10 and it just dun go on the straight, trying very hard to take different line at corner to gain speed at the straight, but none of the effort help as others just pass me on straight like Redbull > Lotus Tongue drive kfully to the finish line without a spin and finish in 8th..

q2 in kart #7, the kart has speed, but out of alignment so its very slow in right turn. still give a good fight and finish in 5th, with other guy penalized 5 place i got 4th biggrin

was 2 points off for Group A.. but at least finally i can pick a fast kart to drive, but still the fastest #13 was picked by liyana, i got the #14. start at 2nd last in the grip, i know liyana gonna fly in #13 with such good weather, so i push super hard at the start and manage to gain about 10 places after turn 1. then i push even harder to get into 1st position in 2 laps becoz i know soon liyana will be coming, and yes she was right behind my tail for last 2 laps! so i change from lapping to defending with liyana bumping my ass, and luckily i'm able to secure the position finish 1st in group B

see u round 10! Smile

Observed that some drivers (including the regulars) are still not sure on how to start from Rolling Start...
Accelerating is OK but not bumping/overtaking/crossing lanes before the starting line guys!

Next time, the marshals might not be that loose~ Especially if marshaled by Ilyas James! Smile

haha..you got that right mr Zul...

FYI.. if the drivers are cought doing a jump start .. (overtaking other karts even the flag is being waived but your kart has not cross the start / finish line) u will be demoted 5places down.. so its pointless is u win 1st place if u are caught doing so.. in the end u are being 6th...

i am just playing againts the rules.. in my kart we need discpline drivers and respcet other drivers.. dont bump into drivers unless its unavoidable.. (worst case scenario).. and we also need new lap checkers volunteers as well as most of the current drivers will be in K1 next year.. so please do join us.. its fun.. trust me..

I've a feelin the bumpin part is because some of them forgot we're not in SIC anymore.... Thankfully, there werent any wheel to wheel incidents..... We haven't seen those in awhile(and hope never to see it again).... Tried to search YouTube for the videos of flips at CK, but din find it..... Please know the kart can be launched off the ground if you touch your front wheels to your competitor's back wheels.....

It also trains you to note which are the faster and slowest kart of the day. So that during the kart selections in the Finals A/B/C/etc, you'll know straight away which karts to take and not to take.... instead of taking a long time and simply tembak or listen to the 'advices' being shouted out by ur 'friends' Wink

Also my-kart races are kept low with the help of volunteers, without which, either the costs will go up or the races are scrapped..... So, do lend a helping hand.... everyone doing a bit.....

yes, i even saw some drivers not staying with their position before the green flag is being waved. And during the straight oso wanna rub wheels ka? If your kart is faster just overtake la...why must have contact with my kart to overtake..i dont get that part..

and bro ilyas, i will lend a hand as a volunteer next race onwards although im also under probation to join k1 next year..

Thx. I think ppl are quick to 4get bout these things or they weren't around....

I wld suggest that this be shown together with the video of karts flipping during race briefing. As the saying goes, a picture paints a thousand words. No matter how much you say/tell ppl, they won't bother much till examples/proof is shown.....

thanks ruben for the addtional information.. i do agree with the bumping issue ..as we are no longer in sepang as theres no bumpers on the kart to protect you..or ther other driver

and incident occured to me on the last race.. on the bumping issue.. it happened in heat B... i started from the back of the pack and manage to over take bundles of karts hehe..as my kart has the power advantage (kart 14)..on lap 4 heading to lap 5.. i was in 2nd and on the way chasing for 1st..before the home stright..some one bumped into me and caused the rear bar clipping the rear tire..and the kart cant move at all as the tire was jammed.. in the end i came 2nd last (manage to over take 2 karts ) i dont want to mention names who bumped into me as he's also a friend of mine and a regular karter (ehem...) Tongue i knew that he didnt did that on purpose as he was avoiding another kart coming his way..

.. but honestly i was so fustrated...to lost not a few places but 10's or more ... so moral of the story is... DO NOT BUMP... as this is not a fun fair bumper car ride..

also another note to add.. if you are caught causing damage on the kart (yes even ist a k3 rental kart..dont think that only K1 has damage chargers) you might be charge for damage cost by CK..

Maybe if CK charged for every bumper that flies of.... Say maybe RM10.... that might help Wink
