HIGH PERFORMANCE CHALLENGE DRIVING EVENT

Hello My-Karters,

I have organised a driving event at Sepang called High Performance Challenge (HPC) on April 8th from 9am to 1pm. You can bring your car on track in a safe and controlled environment with drivers and their vehicles broken up into groups depending on skill level. Group 1 or beginner drivers will have an instructor in the car with them to show them the line and on-track driving techniques. Included will be test drives of the Proton Savvy and Lotus cars demos, Lunch will be included. For those interested in joining, go to http://www.hpcevents.com to register. Members of car clubs, register your club and invite your members.

If I read the Brian's website correctly, its RM170 per driver, guest ( passeangers ) are free.

However all should be wear helmets - as far as I know.

Guys - any of you coming???? There will be test drive and rides available on the Savvy and Elise too. I am sure some of the MCS gang here are keen.....

Thanks for the support guys. Yes, will be needing instructors. Jules, Jason, Alvin and all those that helped on the Peugeot track day are invited to be instructors for the event. I will be sending out an email to you, but very quickly, the instructors will run for free in exchange for helping out with the Group 1 drivers.

For other, yes, the cost is RM170 and includes lunch. Trying to get catering by La Bodega.

I will update the HPC website with the list of entrants, instructors and car clubs over the weekend. I am limiting the number of participants in each group to 40 in the interest of safety and to ensure open tracks for you guys to really enjoy your cars.

Were you serious about wanting to instruct? If so, go to the HPC Website's 'Driver Rsources' page at http://www.hpcevents.com/resources.htm and download the "Rules and Regulations" as well as the "Instructors Guide and Regulations". If you still think this is something you want to do, send me an email with your racing/driving experience to .

Jules, Jason and Alvin, you will be added to the instructors list. I will contact you soon on the details.

yes rm170 is per car ( for one driver....ideally ). Reasonable price when u know its RM150 for OPEN TRACK DAY. This includes lunch and free rides...( if u want and can get one...SAVVY )
