Updating the website's page layouts

Dear my-karters. I am making a few changes to the my-kart website layouts in order to address some of the experience issues faced by some members. The site will not be down during this time, but the layouts will change from time to time, and may look even unfamiliar and funny. I ask for your patience during this time as I experiment with different designs on the live site. The contents & functionalities will not be affected during this time. So please continue to use, post as you normally do. Also, if you can - give me some feeback.

cheers
fazz

ok, that explains the funny layout I'm experiencing today. At the time of writing, your main content body is appearing halfway down the page on my computer....

It will be good if the main content is moved up.

ok. does it appear below the menu level?

Yup, fonts & spacing a little too big.

Threads OK in Mozilla on my desktop but the logo + main content is 1/2 way down the page in IE on my laptop.

i would live with the big fonts for now. but can't figure out the threads running to the left.

i'm testing using both firefox and explorer... threads seem ok.

but as for the content dropping lower... this one happens in both.

It would seem that the threads still run to the left on explorer. however, the content dropping to the lower half of the page... seems that this is no longer happening. pls advise.

No problem with mozilla.

Testing with IE now and it seems to be OK.
Font size is OK but I find the spacing between lines a little bit big, hence a waste of space.

Great!

As for the spacing - i want to create an impression of more space. hence the liberal use of "white space".

that's strange. i tested enduro5 page 5 on IE6, and it looks ok. None of the threads run to the left anymore. perhaps you can clear your cache and reload? let me know?

btw, what is your IE version?

Is it just the font size that's the problem? What about the thread that runs to the left?

Jules:

accessing from laptop, office Monday morning.

ALL LOOK FINE at this stage! Colour can be nicer but that's my taste and a very minor item.

Well done, Forza MyKart!

The font is allright and the thread runs perfectly. No more misalignment. Smiling

LOL... I think opening up reading the forums to unregistered users was a good start at that Smiling. - more content for google to find, more content for surfers to search for in google Smiling.
