Round 8 on the 4th September 2004
Round 8 of the 2004 K.A.R.T. season comes two weeks after the recently ended Round 7 in one of the most hectic karting months. The season now approaches the end year before the break during the Muslim Fasting month in October-November.
The competition is getting closer with 3 races to go and all points counting towards the K.A.R.T. championship. In the K2 class the dog fight is between series leader Hafidz Fahro Rozi on 75 points and Fazz Rahman 3 points behind. All drivers down to Munib in 20th position are mathematically in contention for the 2004 honours.
Meanwhile in the K3 category, it is a close 3-way battle between new K3 series leader, Muhaymin on 61 points, Kevin Tan (60) and Nazim (59). Mathematically, anyone down to 49th position Angeline Ling are within 60 points of the top.
So Round 8 is an important round to collect points.

I aim to limit the availability to 40 drivers for Round 8 to keep the event duration to reasonable length. I will notify all when the slots are full, but please keep the responses coming so I can place you on wait list (I need to have a proper system to do this as I forgot to notify Izham for the last round... sorry).
