The my-KART TEAMS series replaces the MEGA Endurance for 2007. "Privateer" TEAMS have the chance to race against each other at tracks such as Shah Alam, Elite USJ and Sepang on the 100cc / 80cc karts. Team PC Net Comm are reigning MEGA Enduro champions. But which teams will be challenging them in 2007?
The plan in 2007 is to run 4 rounds of the my-KART TEAMS series. The key is teamwork and consistency throughout the whole season.
Details of the event is as follows:
date: Saturday, 21 July 2007 time: 0900hours **don't be late venu: Elite Plus Speedway / 100cc kart: using Kartquest's 100cc 2-stroke karts fees: RM350 per team duration: 1 hour inclusive practice
Refer to the 2006 standings (5 rounds).
Agenda for the day is to have testing in the morning, and karts tuning thereafter with the race starting at around 12pm. Each team will need to ensure that the karts are ballotted, ballasted and setup properly before the race which will be later in the day. So please allocate full day.
0900 - 1000: team registration, weighing in & ballotting 1000 - 1030: Team & Driver Briefings 1100 - 1130: qualifying (15mins) & kart preparation 1200 - 1245: my-KART TEAMS Race 1300 - 1330: results & end
Each team will need to do the following:
- form a team
- nominate team principal and assistant principal (team principals should only enter the same teams as prior enduros)
- the team principals are both not allowed to change teams - we should avoid a proliferation of teams in the enduro championship
- the team will score points only if one or both of the principals are participating
- the team principals shall select the drivers (3 drivers total including principals)
- driver minimum weights: male, an average of 68kgs per driver and female, an average of 58kgs per driver (eg. if team has 3 male drivers, total minimum weight must be 68x3 = 204kgs... if team has 2 male and 1 female, then minimum weight must be 68x2 + 58 = 194kgs)

Its bulletin states that the combined KKS & Rotax Round No. 4 will be held at the ELITE PLUS Speedway, a 2 day event on 21st July. This will clash with mykart's rd 4 endurance venue.

Aiyoo, hard to schedule.
Scheduled home leave from 8-22 July. Hoping to fly back on 6 July to attend rd7.
Suggestion : Move the endurance race to 14 July (1 week after rd7) or hold it at CK on the original date of 21 July with 80cc karts (unless CK has come up with some new 100cc karts).

theoretically should not be an issue... after all it is the aggregate driver weight which is relevant. so in the end teamwork should prevail & not individual driver.

I believe that endurance on 80 cc will attract more teams from within my-kart as it is cheaper. Secondly, the pool of drivers is larger especially from the K3 group. Thirdly, teams from companies or motor clubs are always welcome to participate, thus widening my-kart's exposure and contribution to grassroot motorsports. We could possibly get up to 20 teams or more.....yes, we can still call it an IC3 event.
Let's see how many are interested by wrting down the word "Confirm"

if it's yr first time on 100cc, I suggest u practice on CK track first and get comfortable with the speed, etc on a familiar track. Then, try the 100cc at Elite - it's windier, up hill, down hill, etc...so u need to be confident with controlling the 100cc before trying it at Elite..
