Confirmation of Team 3RI withdrawal

AP has confirmed the order of the 13 new engines and will be making their way from Italy real soon. Once the engine arrives, I will snap some photos to proof that the engine are here.

As for Team Vertical Speed and 3RI, please make contact to the committee as soon as possible, to let us know if you are going to race or not. Because we need to prepare food, trophies, medals and etc. If there is no response, I will exclude your team from the race because your team do not show any commitment in wanting to race.

Please take note:

Team Vertical Speed, 3RI and SuperCrocs will have to run on rental kart engine as the dateline for the deposit is officially close.

All team, for the 15th of November is a Saturday and there are no bank operating, the dateline for early bird is until MONDAY 17th November (Azlan please take note about this). So the total payment for a team from TUESDAY 18th November onwards is RM2200

Admenment: SuperCrocs will get to choose new engine. Please read my post below.(Luen)

The last day for the 50% Deposit payment MUST be made on November 8th - mykart Round 10. Please be aware that if any teams did not pay the deposit will not get a new engine for their race.

To all Teams,
Here are how you can make your 50% Deposit payment:
1) On Oct 11 - pay to Azlan directly during my-kart races, THEN with the issued receipt, go and REGISTER with ENDURO organising committee (don't confirm a team without seeing the receipt)

2) After Oct 11th - make payment to my-kart promotion maybank account number :512754306333, and email AZLAN & ENDURO committee to advise. THEN on Nov-8 (round 10) submit physical copy of bank-in slip to Azlan for Receipt, and confirm team with ENDURO committee (as 1 above).

The time of the event has been changed. The race will now start at 1400(2.00pm) - 2000(8.00pm). AP insisted. So all the timing for registration and others have changed. Please refer to RACE FORMAT SUMMARY table below. Thanks.

To all Teams,

Today Naza and me went to CK to discuss with AP about the MME race arrangement and etc. Everything went well.

The following information is very important:

AP is going to get the new engines soon. He needs all teams to pay a 50% deposit(RM1000) by end of this month(31st October 2008). This is to ensure that all teams will get their new engine for their race. For team who do not pay up 50% by end of this month, they will have to race with the rental karts engine. When the engine arrives, I will personally snap some photos and post it on the website to let you guys know.

Good news is we can have more teams and not restricted to 12 teams only. So all buayas out there, please make it real quick and start collecting money.

Can you assist everyone on how to make the payment? Bank in? Pay personally to you? etc...

26/4 Update: Date and Time Confirmed: 24th May, 7:30am

All my-kart members, pitstop.com.my members and fans of the A1 Team Malaysia are invited to join the special "race with the fans" event featuring the A1 Team Malaysia crew and drivers.

The event format will be team based race. We are targeting to get 18 teams of 4 drivers per team - for a 100 minutes endurance. Qualifying is another 20mins.

Team : 4 drivers
race : 100mins endurance + 20mins qualifying heat
Fees : RM350 / team (80cc) - partly subsidised (you cannot get this rate at other times)

RACE SCHEDULE:
7.30am - 8.00am : Payment collection
8.00am - 8.30am : Briefing & kart assignment
8.30am - 8.50am : Qualifying Heat
8.50am - 9.10am : Release of qualifying result
9.10am - 10.50am : Endurance Race (3 pit stops)
10.50am - 11.30am : Podium ceremony and closing

Chicken Wings will be a permanent feature of the 2008 my-kart season. Chicken wings is essentially a practice session for all seasoned and novice karters.

Novices are advised to participate in chicken wings before joining the season proper. Here you can expect to get tips from the regulars.
